How to negotiate a price for a car?

Hi everyone,

I am considering purchasing a car in the next couple of weeks. I am wanting to hear from the forum members about the best way to negotiate the price of the car if I am not comfortable with the asking price?

Does anyone have any recommedations on painting a classic car? The original color was white and the car is in much need of a paint job. However, I still want to preserve the integrity of the car. Is there anything special that one would need to know regarding restoring/painting an older car?
