Torque Fest 2010 Farley Speedway Farley IA 52046 27317 Olde Farely Rd Only 30 miles from historic Galena, IL 8am RAIN OR SHINE! Not the typical car show. Pre '65. No Billet. 11th Annual SCC Car Show & Swap Meet Event Hours: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Event City: West Burlington Event State: Iowa Event Location name and/or address: Southeastern Community College, 1500 West Agency Rd Event description: 20 classes, 2 plaques awarded in each class. Participant judging 11:00 am to noon, awards presented at 2:00 pm. T-shirt and dash plaque for each entry. Plenty of trailer parking. Show held rain or shine. Special awards: President’s Choice, Best Paint, and Best Interior. Trophy awarded for Best In Show. Music, food, and lots of fun, free to the public. 22nd Annual Car Show Oskaloosa, Iowa July 30, Friday Graffiti Night 6–9pm in large parking lot east of Kentucky Fried Chicken near downtown Oskaloosa. Good 50’s–60’s music, door prizes & giveaways, and bench rodding. July 31, Saturday Show-n-Shine 9am--3pm on the Oskaloosa Square with more 50's-60's music. The day includes a Poker Walk through stores and the Mall downtown while shopping, over $1,000 in cash giveaways, and door prizes and dash plaques for all entries. Event T-shirts will be available. After 3pm, Participants will cruise a short distance to shady Edmundson Park (where Rollin Oldies contributed wooden truck for wooden playground) for a free evening meal, root beer floats, additional prizes, and trophy awards. Up to 3 beautiful trophies will be awarded for each Class for 25 Classes from 1900 to Current Vintage, determined by participant vote, plus 8 additional tropies to include “Best of Show.” Watch for an update to this site for entry fee etc. Last year's attendance was 200 vehicles plus motorcycles. Emmaus House 7th Annual Car Show Event City: Garden City Event State: Kansas Event Location: 3I Building at the Finney County Fair Grounds Event Hours: 12Noon Friday Oct. 30th, 9am Sat Oct. 31st, 10am Sun Nov. 1st Our show is open to all kinds of cars and trucks. Antiques, muscle, Original Conception, ect... FRIDAY - Oct. 30th We have a "Trick in the Trunk" event for kids to trick or treat on at 5pm, A Halloween Maze scheduled for older kids in the building next to the car show. A dinner at 8pm for show entrants (2 tickets for the dinner are given to all early registrants), SATURDAY Oct 31st Car show opens to public at 9am A silent auction will be conducted all afternoon Saturday A dinner and live auction at 7pm Saturday night SUNDAY Nov. 1st Church Services at 9am Sunday, Show opens to the public at 10am Trophy awards start at 1pm Sunday We will give away a 1995 Corvette Convertible and a 2009 20' Steel Deck Car Trailer after the award ceremonies conclude. We have just been informed that "THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL'' will be here during the entire car show filming for one of their car show series to be aired in March. Any and all monies collected for this car show, over and above direct car show expenses, go directly to "The Emmaus House" shelter to help those in need. All of those involved in conducting the car show are volunteers and do not receive any payment. We are the largest fundraiser of the year for them. GOD BLESS ALL WHO PARTICIPATE and THANK YOU. There is a car show in San Antonio this Sunday. This show benefits children who are victims of abuse or neglect. Show your support for this wonderful cause.
