Project Cars
Several custom car restorations will trigger your imagination in the Project Car Section this week. A 1958 Chevy Impala Hardtop (shown above left) has been offered for sale by a hot rodder in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He says this is a complete car for restoration. Some work has been done. Engine needs to be rebuilt. A unique custom 1950 Chevy 2-Door project car (shown above center) with radical body mods has been listed from Palm Coast, Florida. They say this car was featured as a project story in American Rodder magazine in 1996. Obviously all the hard work has been done. It just needs you to finish it. And Unique Specialty & Classic in Mankato, Minnesota has listed an interesting project for restoration. It is a 1956 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Limousine (above right) in original, unrestored condition, and they say the frame is very solid. Only 1,095 of these 7-passenger limousines were produced in '56. They say the car has been in storage for 30 years.
