EXCEPTIONAL SOLID SHEET METAL
400 CID CALIFORNIA CAR
Location: Alberta
History/Overview: A California Car that was purchased new by a lady from Sylmar, CA (documented). Previously owned by two others before it was imported from Burly, Idaho and DRIVEN home by the fourth owner to Calgary, Canada in the Fall of 2009 with 34,000 miles. The trip home (15-hours) was trouble free. Odometer now reads 44,631 miles. The car was equipped with a 326 CID, 2 bbl., (engine included with this sale). Now upgraded with a rebuilt 400 CID. Impeccably well-maintained with lots of documentation. A summer-only cruiser. Less than 5000 miles on the build. No pulls or vibrations. Lots of old school torque with the 400 CID engine. Super smooth driver with no vibrations. Strong runner and a head turner. Just in time for summer cruising with the rag top down!

After market gauges under dash (oil, temp and amp). Radio is wired with auxiliary port for cell phone.
Known issues: There are some marks on the back bumper – driver’s side. Both rear windows need operation adjustments. Door weather stripping is weather checked. Only two paint chips in the whole car – one at the passenger side door (very shallow door ding) and one tiny chip at the RH rear panel near the signal light. Minor transmission leak. Faded carpet on RH side on trans. hump. Minor scratches on LH interior door garnish molding. One small, repaired chip in the windshield. Oil dipstick issue – the internal sleeve to hold the dipstick inside the crank case was installed upside down; therefore, the original stick rubs on the crank when running. The work around is with two dipsticks – one for appearance and the other inserted for proper measure.
Reason for selling: Other retirement priorities.
