1979 Ford F350 Ranger XLT

History/Overview: Manufactured April 1979. Purchased from the original owner in June 2015. The truck was always parked indoors; including with the first owner who even had carpet on the floor of his garage. Well maintained with regular oil changes. These trucks are known for extreme durability and heavy towing capability. Odometer reads 30966 km.

Body: SuperCab (extended cab with 2 doors and rear jump seats). Long 8-foot bed. Chrome trim. Rear sliding window. Checker plate aluminum full perimeter box rail covers. Two tone paint.

Frame/Chassis/Suspension: Leaf springs front and rear with Full Floating rear axle. 9200 GVWR.

Engine: Likely original 460 CID. New Edelbrock 4 bbl carburetor 6 years ago. New fuel pump. Major tune up a year ago. Dual fuel tanks.

Transmission: C6 3 speed Automatic.

Differential: Likely original with unknown gears.

Exhaust: Single Aluminized steel.

Brakes: Front disc with drums in the rear.

Wheels: Factory steel 16 inch with factory wheel covers.

Tires: Front Firestone Dueler A/S 9.5 R16.5 LT and Bridgestone same size in the rear.

Interior: Very nice condition throughout. Cloth/vinyl bench seats. No cracks in the dash.

Extras included: Full maintenance records and receipts back to 2015. Large one-piece full width floor mat. Owners manual.

Options and Special Features: Power steering and power brakes. Air conditioning and cruise control. AM/FM radio with 8 track player. Additional fabricated wheel housing deflector shields in all four wheel openings. Factory spare tire mounted under the box.

Known issues: Small oil and transmission leaks but dry under the truck where parked. Bit of filler detected in the RH cab corner and in both rear quarters. Tailpipe secured with wire. Small rust bubbles in the RH and LH door front lower bottom corners, LH lower front box side, top RH side roof above windshield and LH cab corner. Rust spots on front bumper by each bumperette. Slight vibration at 100 km per hour (may be a wheel balance or a flat spot on a tire). AC need a recharge.

Reason for selling: Downsizing.
